Hot Fudge Pudding

1-cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¾ cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

½ cup milk

2 tablespoons shortening, melted


Sift together dry ingredients, add milk and shortening. Spread in 9” square pan.


1-cup brown sugar

¼ cup cocoa


Combine and sprinkle on top of mixture. Pour 1-¾ cups hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350 degrees, 45 minutes
